On 26 March, Effisus was at Duartesfer for specialised training on waterproofing metal roofs, presenting innovative solutions with high-performance membranes. This initiative allowed our team to deepen their knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques and materials, which are essential for guaranteeing greater durability and resistance in structures.
Waterproofing is a crucial factor in metal construction, preventing infiltration and other problems associated with exposure to the elements. With this training, we strengthened our ability to develop effective solutions, integrating technologies that increase the reliability of our projects.
During the session, we explored various Effisus solutions, such as Easyrepair, Bolt Protect, Bond FT and TiteGutter3, among others. In addition to the theoretical presentation, we carried out practical application tests, allowing us to understand in practice the advantages and performance of each solution.
Special emphasis was placed on Effisus Bond FT, an uncured EPDM membrane laminated to a pressure-activated adhesive tape. This "peel & stick" technology allows for the definitive sealing of metal roof trims, adapting to irregular surfaces without the need for mechanical fixing or additional adhesives. After curing, the tape becomes extremely resistant to humidity, UV rays, thermal variations and structural movements, ensuring the longevity of the solutions implemented.
